True Historic Landmark: Please be advised that our rental property is a true historic landmark that ended its operation as a school in 1966. And as such, it may receive visits from former students who may pull their cars into the driveway as they reminisce about their past. Never, in the years we have owned the Schoolhouse has a guest reported any of these visitors walking about the property or asking to enter the home, and we expect this as the continued norm moving forward. At no time should our guests feel alarmed or threatened and at no time should our guests feel they must open the door to any unexpected visitor. As a port of this community, we respect the nostalgia of revisiting your childhood, and honor these visitors as they move into the later years of their lives.

Maintenance Visits: Regular visits by maintenance personnel for the purpose of care and upkeep of the hot tub and/or for lawn and landscape care are common. These visits will occur during regular business hours and typically on week days. No access is required into the home during these visits. Should there be an emergency maintenance issue that requires entry into the home, the host will notify the guest ahead of the visit.

Cameras and Audio Recording Devices: We want to assure our guests that there are no cameras or audio recording devices within the interior of the rental property. However, for the safety of our guests and the property, we have installed exterior security cameras. Please note that this is not a reflection of the safety of the area, but rather a proactive measure for the protection of this historic property that is advertised for rent on major online travel agency platforms. We believe that potential wrongdoings that may be encouraged by the publicity of the property can be prevented when it is known to be protected.
